At Carmel Consignment, items for sale have maximum exposure and we offer major credit card and layaway options, attracting a broad range of buyers.
How Do I Consign?
Clothing and accessories, in quantities of twenty items or less, may be brought in for consideration during any business hours up to thirty minutes before closing. Twenty items or more require an appointment. Clothing and accessories must be in like new condition (cleaned and pressed on hangers) and of current styles.
Who Sets the Price?
Price is very important! Priced too high, items will not sell. Priced too low, it is unfair to the consignor. We use information you (the consignor) can provide, such as original cost, age, history, etc. and combine that with our experience and current resale value to determine the price. All consigned items are subject to scheduled markdowns.
How Long is the Contract?
Our consignment contract is good for 90 days.
